Sub can stay submerged and run at 1/4 speed indefinitely. plenty of ships have other ASW systems already modelled, id be surprised if they dont implement them. they havent gotten to that section of development yet. Their spotting distance will decrease as they submerge, to half their surface detection when at 30m. past that they will be invisible, but also not able to attack.
